Spring Break And Beyond
March 10, 2013
My new springtime friend
Contributed by Brad Fuller
Spring Break came and left all too quickly, as it does every year. This may be one of the strangest spring breaks I’ve had yet; we had 8 inches of snow in Wilmington. I never thought I would be making a snowman over spring break, but it is what it is. I’m now looking forward to cycling weather!!
The new month also marks the time I switch my Athletic Training rotation. This month, I will be with the Men’s Lacrosse team, which will be exciting because it is a new sport on campus and I do not have any lacrosse experience. The junior AT class also just found out our senior sport assignments for next year, in which we will be with one team for the entire season. My sport is Men’s Basketball, and I am very happy with the sport I got. There will be many advantages to having the bulk of my clinical hours during the winter next year, including more cycling time when the weather is nicer, not having to be outside during bad weather (even though I love being outside), dressing up for games, watching our solid basketball team, etc. I’ll be updating to let you all know how lacrosse goes!
