November 17, 2012
Did you know that Wilmington College has international students from Scandinavia, Great Britain, Cameroon and Mexico? WC also offers study abroad programs on every continent (except Antarctica) through AHA International.

The International Club on campus is for international students and anyone interested in learning about other cultures. I have been a member since freshman year, but this year’s Club has been the best by far.
On Wednesday November 14, the International Club hosted its first International Festival. This event was open to students and faculty to discover the diversity on our own campus, and experience and learn about other cultures. To make this event a success, the International Club not only took a trip to Jungle Jim’s, but we asked faculty with international knowledge to get involved as well. After much preparation, time and a little creativity the International Festival compiled a myriad of foods, pictures, and artifacts and even sports jerseys. Japanese sushi, peanut chicken from Ghana, plantains, Swedish Christmas drinks and meatballs, Argentinian breakfast foods, and Norwegian pudding are just few of the delicious foods we were able to offer at the International Festival 2012.
Hope to see you there next year!
