Experience WC

This week we tried something new in terms of programs on campus. We had a program called “Experience WC”, which included evening activities and overnight stay for those who wanted to stay with a student on campus. About 15 people stayed overnight, and some came to just take part in the evening activities because of classes the next day.
I was supposed to host two overnight guests in my apartment. I was excited to meet some new people, and show them what Wilmington College is like, but unfortunately none of them showed. Other than that, pretty much everyone that had made a reservation came! Because I have a lot of schoolwork to do, I decided to not take part in the program once I realized that my guests did not come to campus. I used that time to work on some papers I had due for the end of the week.
If you are interested to come and visit campus on an overnight, please let us know and we will be glad to organize it for you! We won’t have another program like this, this semester, but we can definitely arrange for individual overnights so you can stay with a student on campus and get a feel for what Wilmington College is really about!
