Beth Floyd

Biography:

Beth Floyd was named senior woman administrator and head softball coach at Wilmington College in June of 2007. Prior to her arrival on the WC campus, Floyd was the varsity softball coach and athletic director at (Leesburg) Fairfield High School.

Floyd assists the administration of Wilmington’s 21 intercollegiate teams and oversees game management and NCAA compliance.

She enters the 2013 season as the school's winningest fastpitch softball coach. The team has increased its win total in each of the last four seasons, including a school-record 16 in 2012. The Quakers have started to climb the OAC ladder and have posted wins over nationally ranked teams and eventual conference champions.

A 1993 graduate of University of Rio Grande, Floyd compiled a 171-73 record at Fairfield High School. Her teams won four Southern Hills League titles, nine sectional championships, two district crowns and made two “Sweet 16” and one “Elite Eight” appearances. She was named SHL coach of the year three times.
