The 9th Annual Lil International Showmanship Show is planned for March 29. The contest is designed to help 4-H and FFA members improve showmanship skills with six species in junior and senior divisions. Registration form included.

The WIlmington College Aggies 50th annual Livestock Judging Contest Feb. 27 has been canceled. Since this is the second ill-fated attempt at holding the competition, this year's event will not be rescheduled.

When Wilmington College junior Andrew J. “A.J.” Hephner tunes into the opening game of the World’s Series tonight (Oct. 24) at Boston’s Fenway Park, he won’t, at least initially, be looking for Red Sox stars like 20-game winner Josh Beckett, the scheduled starting pitcher.

4-H and FFA members will have the opportunity to participate in a quality assurance training. Experienced breeders, judges and volunteers will provide hands-on experience in selection and showmanship techniques in the following areas: beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goat and poultry.
