Visiting campus is the perfect way to learn all about Wilmington College! We recommend that you visit campus at least two times if your schedule allows – the first time by attending an open house to get a general feel for the atmosphere and to make sure we have what you are looking for. The second visit should be through an individual visit or Host Day so that we can customize your visit to exactly meet your needs. We provide a variety of visit options for you. Take a look and see which ones work best for you. All programs include a campus tour, a meal in our main dining hall and information sessions on admission requirements, scholarship opportunities and financial aid.
Please Note: Reservations are necessary with each visit option and can be made via the web site, email, or telephone. You will receive a confirmation that your reservation has been received. If you do not receive this confirmation, you should contact us to confirm your reservation.

Summertime is a great time for families of rising juniors and seniors to start exploring various colleges and universities. Here at Wilmington College, we understand this, and invite you to include us in your visit plans. By being centrally located between Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati and only five minutes off of I-71, Wilmington will more than likely make a great addition to your itinerary. This program, much like our Inside Look Days, is designed to be general in nature, giving you an overall look at WC while providing you with the necessary information needed to make an accurate comparison to other schools you may be interested in.
An individual visit allows us to build an itinerary with specific activities that you request. Appointments are taken weekdays between the office hours of 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. You will meet with an admission counselor to learn about admission requirements, financial aid and scholarship opportunities. You can meet with a faculty member, coach or extra-curricular advisor and have lunch in our dining hall. Just let us know which options you prefer when you make your appointment, and we will establish a schedule to meet all of your needs.
Please Note: Appointments must be made at least a week in advance of the date you wish to visit so that we have plenty of time to arrange your activities. Please call the Office of Admission directly to make your appointment.
With Friday being a popular day to visit campus during the week, we have set up our Friday visits differently than any other day of the week. You can choose to visit campus either in the morning or in the afternoon.
Morning Option:
Arrive to campus at 9:45 a.m.
Admission Meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Campus tour at 10:45 a.m.
Optional Lunch at 11:45 a.m.
Afternoon Option:
Arrive to campus at 1:45 p.m.
Admission Meeting at 2:00 p.m.
Campus tour at 2:45 p.m.
Please Note: On Fridays the availability of some of our faculty and coaches is at times limited. If meeting with one of them is an essential part of your visit, we advise that you contact the coach or faculty member directly, or schedule your visit Monday through Thursday.
We realize it's not always easy to get away during the week for a campus visit. That's why we are open Saturdays during the academic year to provide you the opportunity to tour the campus and meet with an Admission Counselor and Student Ambassadors to learn about admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships and student life. Saturday presentations are held at 10:00 a.m. with the campus tours beginning at 11:00 a.m. Call the Office of Admission directly to make your reservation.
Been to campus several times already? Have you been curious as to what it's like to spend a night in a residence hall? If so, then you may consider scheduling an individual overnight visit. This is offered to any high school senior who has been accepted for admission to Wilmington College. Students are welcome to visit on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday while classes are in session throughout the entire academic year. Visiting students will be hosted by a Wilmington College Student Ambassador (employed by the Office of Admission) with whom they will reside with and experience first hand the daily routine of a typical Wilmington College student. There is no charge for this opportunity. To schedule an individual overnight visit, simply contact the Office of Admission two weeks prior to your desired date at extension 260 and leave the rest to us.
