Wilmington College Student Ambassadors

Our Student Ambassadors are the backbone of your campus visit. They serve as hosts to students visiting campus via individual visits and conduct campus tours during the visit days. They are current students (freshmen through seniors) who work in the Admission Office through the Federal Work Study Program. They not only serve as tour guides, they fulfill other roles in the Admission Office such as date entry clerks, direct mail clerks, and general office duties. Why Did I Choose Wilmington College?
My favorite thing about Wilmington College is the friendly atmosphere, and the that I was made to feel welcome by the upperclassmen and faculty. I come from a small school, so I feel at home and comfortable with the small classes here at Wilmington. My major determining factor for choosing Wilmington College was the first name basis. It helped me realize that our professors are just people, which has made adapting to college life easier.

Why Did I Choose Wilmington College?
From the first day I stepped foot on this campus I knew it was the right place. Wilmington made me feel the best and I fit in right away. I like the friendly environment that flows here. We all know we go to a smaller school, so it seems like even if you do not know someone, you can always start a conversation about something going on on campus. Wilmington has given me opportunities that I feel I wouldn't have received anywhere else. Through organizations on campus I have become a strong leader and I have had the time of my life. Everybody has a chance to be on top here and let their voice be heard. Wilmington gives you the option to make a difference in your life, and I took those options and ran.
