Baccalaureate is on Friday, May 9th at 7:30 p.m. Families are invited to attend. It includes both campus and student speakers who will focus on the religious and humanitarian values that are central to the mission of Wilmington College. Caps and gowns are not worn for Baccalaureate services, but attire suitable for a church service (or an important job interview) is appropriate. Candidates will gather in Boyd lobby at 7:00 p.m. to form the procession into the Hugh Heiland Theater.
Professional photographers will take a panoramic class photo after rehearsal on Friday, May 9th. On Commencement day, individual photos are taken of the graduate shaking hands with the president and there is an opportunity after the ceremony for families and friends to have their photos taken with graduates.
Because we provide professional photography services, guests will not be permitted on the main gymnasium floor during the ceremony.
Candidates will be given information on ordering photographs. You also may contact the photographer directly.
