Fall Semester Issues & Artists Series Announced

Programs to Feature an Illusionist and Internet Law Attorney/Student Advocate

Wilmington College will present an acclaimed illusionist and a program on “Computing and the Law” for the fall 2013 semester portion of its 2013-14 Issues & Artists Series.

Renowned attorney C.L. Lindsay will cover legal aspects of social networking, cyber-bullying and Online plagiarism among the topics in his “Computing and The Law” presentation Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m., in Heiland Theatre.

Lindsay left his New York City law practice to found CO-STAR, The Student Coalition for Student & Academic Rights, for which he serves as executive director. He has built CO-STAR into a national students rights organization that helps thousands of college students with their legal problems.

Winner of NBC’s reality show Phenomenon, Mike Super will shock and amaze with his magic, illusion and mind-bending abilities Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m., in Heiland Theatre.

Many find the secret to Super’s success is his natural ability to entertain and fascinate people. He has pioneered a new form of magic with his own inimitable, down-to-earth style and personality. Super has brought the art of magic back to the people. He is known for transcending the “trick” and connecting personally with his audience.
