Record Numbers Attend College's Community Health Fair

40 Exhibitors Highlight Goods and Services

Wilmington College’s Health & Wellness Fair featured a record number of participants and vendors as the annual event Thursday (March 14) attracted persons from the campus and greater community.

Some 40 organizations and services covered the floor of Fred Raizk Arena in Hermann Court as they staffed tables and displays related to health and wellness issues.

Also, a Red Cross Blood Drive was held concurrently at the site.

WC’s Wellness and Health Promotions Committee sponsored the event, which is designed to enlighten participants as to the numerous health and wellness –related goods and services available in the area.

The first 125 in the door received T-shirts and all participants had an opportunity to take home samples of products and literature. Also, many exhibitors featured hands-on demonstrations of their products.

Exhibitors included: Kratzer’s Hometown Pharmacy, Community Blood Center, Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers, Michael Walsh- Fit Church, Clinton County Health Dept., Clinton County Skate Park.

Also, Sports Medicine Leadership Council, Drayer Physical Therapy, Ignition, TOPS, Wilmington Nutrition, Beacon Orthopedics, WC Wellness and Health Promotions, 4C for Children, Vitols, Highland District Hospital, Sheriff’s Dept., AmeriCorps, Grow Food, Grow Hope, Clinton Memorial Hospital, Hospice.
Also, St. Highway Patrol, New Life Clinic, Longs Pharmacy, Get Fit, Rails Coalition, Kroger Pharmacy, YMCA, Clinton County EMA, American Red Cross, Cape May, Licensed Massage Therapist (Tabetha Spaight), Athletes in Action, WC nurse, WC counselor, Student Athlete Advisory Counsel, GNC, Clinton County WIC, Juice Plus of Cincinnati and Green County Health Dept.
