College Holding Annual Community Health Fair March 22

25 Organizations to Promote Health and Wellness at Event

Better health and wellness will be the topic as the greater Wilmington Community joins students, faculty and staff March 22 at the College’s annual Health Fair.

The event, which is free of charge, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Hermann Court. WC’s Health and Wellness Promotions Committee is sponsoring the event.

More than two-dozen local and area organizations involved with health and wellness will be on hand to speak about their goods and services, offer discounts/samples, or otherwise provide information.

They include: Dayton Sports Medicine Institute, Shake Those Pounds, Greene County Health Department (free HIV testing), Community Blood Center, Stromberg Chiropractic, Get Fit, Tri-County MRI.

Athletes in Action, Longs Pharmacy, Littleton Health Care, several massage therapists, Clinton County Health Department, Kroger Pharmacy, Clinton County YMCA, Clinton County Women's Center, GNC, Clinton County Board of Mental Health, American Red Cross, Clinton County Trails Coalition, Wilmington Cycling Club, Cape May Retirement Village and a representative from Advocare.

Also featured will be such Wilmington College entities as the directors of counseling and the Student Health Center, members of the Health and Wellness Promotions Committee, Sports Medicine Leadership Council and Grow Food, Grow Hope.
